Wehret 11 U.S. Memorial Service
On Saturday 28th April Ms Wintgens' English 4 6th graders took part in this year's Wereth 11 U.S. Memorial Service, as part of our "Having a voice and finding it/ Regional Identity" course.
Our students not only held a speech in English and German, but were also included in honouring the Langer family’s incessant strive to keep the soldiers‘ memory alive. After the ceremony, students further soaked up the atmosphere during lunch – and they were moved by the impact their words had had on the audience present… Great to get such positive and rewarding feedback- Ms Wintgens couldn’t be more proud! Thanks again for everybody involved!
