On 8th May – The annual Remembrance Ceremony in Liège
Ms Wintgens is ever so proud of PDS 5th grade students
Ms Wintgens is ever so proud of PDS 5th grade students Amélie Schleihs, Léonne Mattens and Cathérine Aussems. On 8th May, we were part of the annual Remembrance Ceremony in Liège, as part of our Regional Identity course. Our students read out a moving poem dedicated to the Résistance, in front of state ministers, army representatives and relatives of members of the resistance killed in WW II. They managed to „keep their cool“ in the pouring rain and were told to have been a real asset to this ceremony, dear to people so committed to the cause. All on top of our first day of Project Week… Well done, ladies!
